This is a simple add-in for MS Powerpoint XP/2002/2003 which provides a simpler, more Firefox-friendly HTML version of the slides.

Download and unpack the zip file, and install the add-in from the Tools->Add-ins menu in Powerpoint.

Once installed, it will add two menu options to the Tools menu, to export the active presentation with or without additional notes sections underneath each slide image.

It exports the slides as simple static HTML pages and PNG images, with a front-page grid of thumbnails. The front page is the HTML file you choose to save in the file-chooser and other files and named after that.

Be aware that this exporter is very crude and was implemented in a few hours with only a single soy latte for company, but any suggestions for improvements are welcome.

There's some example output (using Peter Norvig's infamous Gettysburg Address slides) here.
